Attention Visa Debit Card Users
We would like to remind all users to use the Visa Debit Card as a Credit, not a Debit. This is for your safety, because selecting credit will give you, as the consumer, more rights if fraud should happen.
If you are a Visa Debit Card holder and will be traveling outside of the state or country, let us know. This will avoid potential blocks being placed on your card due to unusual activity. This will allow you to travel with confidence knowing your Visa Check Card will be there for you when you need it.×
Northeast Nebraska Federal Credit Union per Regulation GG implements the Unlawful Internet Gambling Enforcement Act (UIGEA). The act prohibits businesses from knowingly accepting payments in connection with unlawful Internet gambling, including payments made through credit cards, electronic funds transfers and checks. Such transactions are termed "restricted transactions." The act generally defines "unlawful Internet gambling" as placing, receiving, or otherwise knowingly transmitting a bet or wager by any means which involves the use, at least in part, of the Internet where such bet or wager is unlawful under any applicable federal or state law in the state of tribal lands in which the bet or wager is initiated, received, or otherwise made.×
Notice of Changes
All funds in a "noninterest-bearing transaction account" are insured, in full, by the National Credit Union Administration through December 31, 2012. This temporary unlimited coverage is in addition to, and separate from, the coverage of at least $250,000 available to members under the NCUA's general share insurance rules.
The term "noninterest-bearing transaction account" includes a traditional share draft account (or demand deposit acount) on which the insured Credit Union pays no interest or dividend. It does NOT include any transaction account that may earn interest or dividends, a negotiable order of withdrawal ("NOW") account, money-market deposit account, and Interest on Lawyers Trust Account ("IOLTA"), even if share drafts may be drawn on the account. For more information about temporary NCUA insurance coverage of transaction accounts visit the National Credit Union Administration×
